The Viking Bacon Quest has come to a Close!

Be in a Movie!

As you may be aware, the Iowa Bacon Board along with Blur MediaWorks filmed a documentary during the event last month, but we still have a few more shots to pick up. We’re hoping to round up hundreds of bacon-loving extras for what will be the opening scene of the film. The crew will be filming from 7-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9 on Court Avenue and 4thStreet.

To secure your spot in the film, please email Baconfestmovie@gmail.com. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the details. Ah YES, and we’ll have a few kegs tapped for you at Johnny’s Hall of Fame to get you warmed up.

The Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival is not only about sampling quality bacon and bacon-inspired dishes but is also a competition.
