Entertainment Schedule and Restaurants Will Be Announced in January

There are still a limited number of tickets available to the 9th Annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival. Tables are sold out.

Brooks Reynolds, Chair of the Iowa Bacon Board, stated, “We have sold a majority of the available tickets. Thousands of crazy bacon-lovers are doing high-leg kicks right now in preparation for ‘Body by Bacon - Sweatin’ to the Sizzle’ on February 20! We’re humbled with the amount of trust our fellow bacon-freaks have shown, as we have yet to announce our exciting entertainment line-up and 80’s centric bacon-infused enhancements. We can’t wait to share our entertainment, bacon purveyor and restaurant line-up with the bacon-loving world later in January. And, we’re excited to let everyone, everywhere, all of them know that TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!”

What was once a ticket only for those with a hunger for bacon and a high-speed internet connection has become an opportunity for all the bacon-loving people of the world to experience the glories of international bacon fellowship. Since moving the event to the Iowa Events Center in 2015, organizers are now accomplishing their goal of accommodating the need for the world’s bacon-lovers to congregate and get a little weird.

Tickets currently remain available through a link at blueribbonbaconfestival.com, the Wells Fargo Arena Ticketing Office, and Hy-Vee Stores located in greater Des Moines and Ames. Purchases made at the Wells Fargo Ticketing Office will not be subject to Iowa Events Center service fees. The event takes place at Hy-Vee Hall and the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center on February 20 from 10 am to 5 pm. Early entry and table ticket holders gain admission at 9 am.
